This very well may be the first time he’s ever been told “No” in his life! Or maybe “Nyet”…
If you’re anywhere near Trump Headquarters right not, you may want to cover your ears… because
The controversial comments sparked enough outrage from Republicans and Democrats alike to force Donald to apologize on FOX News on Thursday, where he tried to responded:
“Of course I’m being sarcastic.”
Joking or not, his “sorry” may have been too little, too late because dozens of government officials spoke out against the politician following his foreign affairs fumble, including former CIA Director Leon Panetta, who said:
“Donald Trump says he gets his foreign policy experience from watching TV and running the Miss Universe pageant. If only it were funny. It is deadly serious. Donald Trump is asking one of our adversaries to engage in hacking or intelligence efforts against the United States to affect our election.”
But Leon wasn’t alone… Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid even said he believes Mr. Trump knows so little about being Commander in Chief, he deserves fake briefings!:
“I think that the man is a loose cannon. He’s done so much to hurt our country with our international relations.”
You go, Harry!
We’re just happy to see that people are finally starting to take his worrisome words seriously… even if this was arguably his least scandalous scandal yet.
Do U think Donald Trump should be held accountable for his national security joke??
