Forget about Disneyland Paris, because the UK is getting its own 2bn theme park.
Built by Paramount, this park (twice the size of the Olympic Park) will comprise of rides, restaurants, theatres, live shows, music events, a cinema, a water park and carnivals.
There will reportedly be attractions fromAardman Animations and the BBC (as well as from Paramount films), so we can expect a good mix of films and TV shows featured.
Construction on the park – which will be located in Kent – is due to start in 2018, and doors will hopefully open as soon as 2021. It’s expected to create around 27,000 jobs.
