An iceberg showed up at a cute little town in Canada, because Canada is a magical place where mythical occurrences like that happen and everybody is probably super polite about it.
The iceberg traveled on down to a town called Ferryland OF COURSE the town has a super adorable name likeFerryland which is now home to 500 people and one gigantic iceberg.
Ferryland is all the way out on the far eastern coast of Newfoundland, which is itself an island off the far eastern coast of Canada.
The iceberg in that setting is stunning:
And a lot of people have noticed its potential for photographs.
Hundreds of people have headed out to Ferryland to check it out for themselves, according to the Canadian Press.
Its a huge iceberg and its in so close that people can get a good photograph of it, MayorAdrian Kavanagh told the Canadian Press. He added that its the biggest one I ever seen around here.
Across social media, you can already see fancy new prof pics coming from this gigantic iceberg in Ferryland.
Some people took the classic here is me in front of a giant iceberg picture.
And, of course, there are the candid shots of tourists with the iceberg.
Get creative with your Newfoundland iceberg pictures!
This particular iceberg in Ferryland is a stunner, but it probably wont be the last one to show up by Newfoundland this year.
Round-trip flights from New York to St. Johns Airport in Newfoundland (about an hours drive away from Ferryland) are as low as $320 right now, according to Kayak, so you might want to get up there quick but dont worry if you cant do that just now.
Ferryland is in an area known as iceberg alley that regularly gets a whole lot of iceberg visitors from up north.
So far this season, 616 icebergs have already been seen in the North Atlantic shipping lanes.
Even if you cant make it up there right at this moment, there will probably be more prof pic opportunities in the next few weeks. Its a beautiful space to head up to and explore!
